We would always tailor your support around your specific needs and treat you special, supporting you to engage in your care and your local community, feel active and fulfilled. It is common to see individuals living with physical disabilities also living with other health conditions such as learning disabilities, brain injury and mental health needs. Such people would usually need additional health requirements. Our experienced team are trained in supporting those living with a range of
complex needs.
We provide a flexible and high-quality level of support from being there for just a few hours a day or week to 24/7 support. We always tailor our support to make sure we do not miss to get to know each individual and those who they value.
By taking this step, we can understand the challenges they’ve gone through, their present and long-term goals and wishes. This insight helps us tailor our support in a way that guarantees that the people kept under our care live happy, fulfilling lives, and always achieve positive outcomes related to their personal aspirations and goals. We reassure individuals of their ability and encourage them to be self-confidence and independent. We discuss any modifications or changes to the way we deliver support in regular assessment and feedback meetings where we invite the individual, those important to them and those who contribute to their care significantly. In such a meeting, we listen to contributions from everyone and make sure feed make is given to the successes and the way forward.
At Brightlife, we design support to meet the need of people by providing a range of support options. Amongst our many approach, designed to meet the need of people living with physical disability is our supported living option. This option helps to encourage independence and empowers the individual to meet set goals. Our staff are happy to provide support round the clock or just for a couple of hours a day depending on the needs of the individual. With supported living, our staff provide support in the comfort of the home of the people we work with. We provide a safe and compassionate care. Individuals could be living in their own house or a shared house in the community. We also assist with household chores and managing the bills of the individual if required. We work with landlords, local authorities and housing associations to make sure the accommodation is suitable for the needs of the individual. We also work with other professionals like nurses, GP, physiotherapists, etc to provide the best healthcare and support required.
