Our staff are trained to support people with various conditions and support needs to retain their independence and develop their skills whilst still getting that extra physical and emotional support they can rely on, to live a fulfilled life in their own environment.

People in supported living services live in the community in the comfort of their own home whilst receiving dedicated support that will enable them increase or maintain their independence. The support we provide is tailored to the needs of the individual. Usually, each person in a supported living accommodated live with other people and have a separate tenancy agreement. They also would pay their bills, any furniture they need and the cost of keeping their home. Some people we support are tenants or own their own property. Our purpose at Brightlife Healthcare is to improve lives. Our staff are trained to offer a purely tailored support to people living independently in their own homes or with family. Our staff are happy to work flexible shift patterns within a staff team to deliver the required level of support needed. We achieve the needs of our clients by providing either 24-hour support for people with complex needs or a few hours a day. Our staff work long day shifts, sleep-in, and can monitor from a distance using Assistive Technology if need be.

Our staff are fully trained to support people use their individual mobility aids or manual handling equipment like wheelchairs, hoist, a walker, slide sheets or specially adapted chairs. Clients are given the choice to decide who they would prefer to support them as most clients prefer seeing a familiar face. This makes them more confident they are working with someone who knows them.

Supporting young people

Brightlife staff are trained and have the special skills required to support young people aged 16+ to develop fulfilling lives in their local communities. We work with the client, other support professionals and family relations to build a support plan that will guide and help our team deliver the expected high standard of care. Our support is centred around the individual’s likeness, dislikes and dreams.

Our healthcare and support staff are experienced in person-centred approach that empower each young person to grow and develop their skills and independence, ready for adulthood and other responsibilities. More particularly we are able to provide tailored support to young people who have learning disabilities, living with autism spectrum disorder, have behaviours that challenge, or other complex needs to live safely and as independently as possible. 

With dedicated support from Brightlife staff, the lives of young people can be transformed, making them to realise better outcomes and hopefully maintain their relationships with family and friends.

Autism Support

All our caring staff are expertly trained and experienced in providing residential and supported living assistance to autistic people and the families of autistic people. We offer specialist person-centred support in rural and urban settings across the UK.

Mental Health Support

We are passionate about promoting the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of people with care and support needs. Our staff are trained and experienced in providing person-centred care for people with mental health challenges. We are committed to supporting recovery and providing support which enable people to move on to a greater independence.

Physical Disability

Brightlife Healthcare has a good reputation in providing dedicated home care services to people having physical disabilities. By offering the correct level of support, we enable people to stay in the comfort of their own home while receiving the support they can rely on. We offer high quality, personalised home care services that meets the unique needs of everyone under our care.

Learning Disability

People with learning disability might be affected in the way they learn new things throughout their life. They might have some difficulties understanding complicated information, learning some skills or looking after themselves or living alone. Brightlife specially trained care staff can make it easier on them and their family members by providing the right type of care and much needed support required to continue living independently in their own homes….

Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia. Dementia is the name for a group of symptoms associated with an ongoing decline of brain functioning. It can affect memory, thinking skills and other mental abilities. People with these conditions find it difficult to complete simple task they could do without any assistance.
